Each light mounts with the adhesive strip on the back, or with the included screws if you want it fixed for good. There's no cable to run and no outlet needed, so you can line a full flight of steps or a deck edge in a few minutes.
The panel on top charges during the day and the light switches itself on when it gets dark. Set along stair treads it marks each step; along a deck railing or a garden wall it traces the edge.
The housing is ABS and sealed against rain, so it stays out through the seasons. The lights sit low and close to the surface, which keeps them out of the way of feet and furniture.
